A free sports livestreaming app
Yacine TV is a free lifestyle mobile app that enables you to enjoy sports matches and channels on your mobile device. As an entertainment app, it offers live streams of football competitions from different channels—mostly in French and Arabic. It lets you filter by category and channel, as well as mark your favorite videos.
However, unlike most sports TV apps, Yacine TV performs below expectations. Ads pop up on the app’s screen too frequently and often disrupt your navigation. Plus, despite its claims, it doesn’t have a lot of videos to offer you, even during peak sports seasons.
Watch football matches at no cost
Yacine TV boasts of offering various sports channels, news channels, and other entertainment programs for free. It’s supposed to act as a livestream app that can play the currently-live broadcasts of these selected channels. On the main menu, you can immediately choose the latest sports matches being aired. They appear in chronological order, with the newest placed at the top.
There are four tabs at the bottom of the screen, acting as your navigation panel. “Recent” is usually your main menu and contains the aforementioned latest shows. “Category” is supposed to show you the listings filtered into groups but it only displays a few channels. On the other hand, “Favorite” is where the channels you marked as your favorites, while “Settings” is where you can tweak the app configurations.
Unfortunately, this app has a lot of major issues. First, the channel names and descriptions are always in Arabic or French while the rest of the interface is in English—and you can’t change the language setting to understand them. Second, the frequency of ads playing can be too much. Lastly, the videos often fail due to server connection issues—making the app practically useless since these channels have online platforms, too.
Needs a major overhaul
Overall, Yacine TV does feature livestreaming capabilities like other similar apps but it’s not the best choice out there. While its interface is easy to understand, ads often obscure most of the screen and can even accidentally redirect you elsewhere when you just want to close them. Plus, the channels being offered don’t always play properly despite the strong internet connection.
